The "green" conservation policy of Noosa dictates that no building will be built higher than the tree line. The town boasts some fantastic beaches with Sunshine Beach being the main beach of Noosa National Park - just a few minutes walk from Noosa's main street, Hastings Street.
Noosa is a smart and sophisticated town boasting a number of excellent shops and restaurants, many located along Hastings Street.
There are many activities to ensure your holiday in Noosa is enjoyable, naturally
outdoor and water sports feature prominently. Camel rides, surf lessons, bike hire, jet skiing, sky diving, horse treks, canoeing and windsurfing are just some on offer!
Noosa is located on the Sunshine Coast, just 140 kms north of Brisbane (approx 1½ hrs driving distance). From Hastings Street, the centre of activity, visitors are only a short distance from the Noosa National Park, the Noosa River Everglades and Cooloola National Park.
