    Byron Bay accommodation

    The popular and safe swimming beach of Main Beach is at the end of the main street in Byron Bay. Surfing beaches include The Pass at Clarke's Beach, Watego's and Tallow - there are also a string of beautiful isolated beaches just a few minutes south of the town.

    From the beaches, stroll straight from the sand to a stylish beachfront café! The restaurants in Byron offer a large selection of eateries ranging from vegetarian cafes to first-class international restaurants.

    Shopping in Byron is a "must". In and around Byron you'll find outlets which make surfboards and shoe outlets like the Lois Lane factory which sell direct to the public. Everything from arts & crafts, aboriginal artworks to beautiful exotic rugs and furniture can be purchased. Markets are a shopping feature in Byron Bay and take place on the first Sunday of every month with nearby towns also holding them on alternative Sundays.
